State of New York Insurance Department Producer Compensation Transparency Regulation 194 (held November 10): Presented by Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker LLP, this webinar included a summary of Regulation 194, OGC Opinions and final Circular Letter, the background and current status of Article 78 proceeding, and general guidance concerning compliance with the regulation. Brokers/Agents Errors and Omissions Seminar with Cocktail Reception (held June 15): Held at  the St. John’s College of Insurance Campus, this program called "Diversifying Revenue Streams in a Soft Market: Opportunities and Risks for Agents and Brokers" was presented jointly by IBANY and PLUS.  A panel of experts shared unique perspectives on coverage issues, claims handling issues, and risk management policies and procedures that are key to mitigating exposure to errors and omissions claims.

Discussion on Property Policies (held May 13): "The Potholes in Property Policies" was the topic of discussion on the morning of May 13th, at Wells Fargo Insurance Services in New York City.  The featured guest speaker was Jill Dalton of Dempsey Partners.

Annual Spring Reception (held April 22): A tradition in the New York City brokerage community, IBANY's Spring Reception took place at Bridgewaters in historic South Street Seaport.  Over 300 insurance professionals gathered for food, cocktails, and an evening of networking and relationship building.  Thank you, sponsors, for supporting another successful event!  See photos
