For over a century, the Insurance Brokers’ Association of the State of New York (IBANY) has represented the interests of New York’s leading commercial insurance producers. IBANY combines advocacy, networking and professional development to:

• ·Promote the professional knowledge and status of IBANY members
• ·Provide opportunities for business interaction between the brokerage and underwriting communities
• ·Study and promote a more thorough understanding of the general public's insurance needs
• ·Foster better understanding between the Association, its members, and the companies with which members do business
• ·Support all legislation, or legislative and political activities, that are in the members' common interests
• ·Ensure the general welfare of the Association
